Milwaukee Lakeshore Engagement Photoshoot

How cute is this couple? Lucky me, Kelly is one of my closest friends. I was so excited for her and Chris when they got engaged and merged their beautiful families. I was even more excited to have the opportunity to take their family photos… 

…and then their engagement photos!

When you live in Milwaukee, it’s hard not to take advantage of our lakefront for an engagement photoshoot. This couple brought me to a spot I’d heard of but not yet had the opportunity to check out- the Milwaukee Pierhead Lighthouse near Lakeshore Park.

It’s been very dreary in Milwaukee to start out April, but we got lucky with a beautiful sunny day- though it was a big chilly and windy. We braved the low temps and Kelly and Chris took advantage of the chill to snuggle up for warmth.

They made my job easy- I barely had to give any direction to get these beautiful shots, and with some poses I had such a hard time choosing my favorite.
